Imogen is a versatile singer, specialising in both choral and consort and soloist work. You can read more about each of these areas of her work below; at the bottom of the page you can browse a selection of live recordings.

 Choral and Consort

Imogen has extensive and varied as a choral singer. The repertoire she works on spans many composers and styles, though she maintains a particular affinity for historically informed performance of early music and, at the other end of the spectrum, pioneering contemporary compositions

Imogen sings for many professional choirs including Ex Cathedra, Polyphony, The Carice Singers, Recordare and many more. Since 2022, Imogen has been a member of the UK's flagship female voices a cappella group Papagena.

Solo

Imogen is an accomplished concert soloist. Recent solo performances include Dyson's Hierusalem with Odiham Jubilee Choir, Schubert's Mass in A flat with the Bristol Choral Society and Jenkins' The Peacemakers with Shrewsbury Cantata Choir

A highlight of 2024 was performing as the soloist for The Waves (Tuesday) with Max Richter and Orchestre Le Balcon, under the diretion of Matthew Lynch at the Louis Vuitton foundation in Paris.

 

Opera

Imogen has also performed as an operatic soloist, especially during her MMus in Vocal Performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Previous roles include the Female Chorus in Britten's The Rape of Lucretia; Zerlina in scenes from Mozart's Don Giovanni; and Miranda in Sams' The Enchanted Island.
