Choral and Consort
Imogen has extensive and varied as a choral singer. The repertoire she works on spans many composers and styles, though she maintains a particular affinity for historically informed performance of early music and, at the other end of the spectrum, pioneering contemporary compositions.
Imogen sings for many professional choirs including Ex Cathedra, Polyphony, The Carice Singers, Recordare and many more. Since 2022, Imogen has been a member of the UK's flagship female voices a cappella group Papagena.
Imogen is an accomplished concert soloist. Recent solo performances include Schubert's Mass in A flat with the Bristol Choral Society, Jenkins' The Peacemakers with Shrewsbury Cantata Choir, and Dvořák's Mass in D with Huntingdonshire Philharmonic.
A recent highlight, an excerpt of which you can listen to below, was performing Clara Schumann's Sechs Lieder at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with the Ripieno Players, conducted by Joseph Davies.
Imogen has also performed as an operatic soloist, especially during her MMus in Vocal Performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Previous roles include the Female Chorus in Britten's The Rape of Lucretia; Zerlina in scenes from Mozart's Don Giovanni; and Miranda in Sams' The Enchanted Island.
