Imogen Russell
Soprano

Imogen has been singing all her life. Born in Coventry, she began as a chorister in the choir of Holy Trinity Church, where she sang for over a decade. While in school, she sung with numerous other ensembles including St Michael's Voices and Coventry Cathedral Choir. Aged 18, she moved to Cambridge and studied Music at Anglia Ruskin University. She sang with the Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge under Stephen Layton for four years, during which time she recorded over 10 discs with the choir and toured all over the world.

Following her time in Cambridge, she returned to the Midlands to pursue a Masters degree at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where she was also a scholar with Ex Cathedra. She graduated with a distinction in 2020, and has been a full-time freelancer since 2022.
